Q How can I get married in Japan?

A  Please note that wedding ceremonies in Japan are not legally binding. To make a marriage legal in Japan, couples sign documents at their local ward office. This is a process undertaken by the bride and groom personally.

Q How much does a wedding in Japan/destination wedding in Japan cost?

A Typically a simple wedding consisting of a ceremony and a reception for 50 guests would cost approximately 2.5 million Japanese Yen. Depending on your venue, number of guests and additional extras this figure will increase.

A wedding consisting of  a ceremony, cocktail party, reception and after party for 50 guests would cost approximately 6 million Japanese Yen, again depending on your venue, number of guests and additional extras this figure will increase.

Q What is a Bridal photo shoot?

A A bridal photo shoot is a chance for the bride and groom to have photos taken on a day separate from their wedding day.

Q How much does a Bridal photo shoot cost?

A The answer to this question depends on the destination of your Bridal photo shoot. Typically a Bridal photo shoot would cost approximately 400,000 Japanese Yen.

A AYAKA ISHIMURA Wedding & Design can organize your event on your behalf.

We have a network of venues, photographers, videographers, florists, Kimono providers and dressers, hair and make-up artists, transportation operators, sound and lighting technicians, entertainers, rental venders and more.
We will liaise with our network of venders and with you in order to create your special event.
